Tips for Your First Ride

1.    Arrive early

Classes can fill up quickly, so make sure you give yourself enough time. Getting to the class a little earlier will be helpful if you want to scout out which bike you’d like to use, or if you’re with a friend you can make sure you’re next to one another. Plus, if you need to make any adjustments to the bike you’ll have plenty of time to do that.

2.    Towels are super handy

You better be prepared to sweat! Our rides will have you having fun and working hard, and that means lots of sweat. We provide you with towels; so don’t be shy in using them. We’d hate to see any of our riders drown in a pool of their own hard work.

3.    Concentrate on form

It’s easy to get caught up in the high energy of our rides, and we do have a lot of fun, but you have to remember to concentrate on your form. You want to get the best results you can, and that means focusing on what our trainers are teaching you. Once you’ve got that down pat you can boogie to as much Britney and Beyoncé as you want.

4.    Ask questions

We’re a community at United Ride. We want to engage with you. Don’t be shy if you’re unsure or need help. It can be a little nerve-racking to be at the front of the class, but it’s also a great position for you to get more attention from the trainer. Let our trainers guide you through your first ride. We want to help!
